I grew up on the East Coast. Twenty-six years of salt air, changing tides, and a way of life that gets into you — the kind you don't fully appreciate until it's gone.
Life moved me around. And somewhere along the way, I found myself far from the coast, driving alone, wondering: how do I carry this with me? The happiness. The peace. The simplicity. How do I package all of that and take it wherever I end up?
That question became SaltE Brand. The salt of the coast. The E of East — always pointing home on the compass.

I grew up in Massachusetts. Twenty-six years of salt air, changing tides, and that particular brand of East Coast life that gets into you — the kind you don't fully appreciate until it's gone.
I left. Denver first. Back home for a while. Then Texas. Life moves in directions you don't always plan, and eventually it moved me to Florida — where I discovered, unexpectedly, that I'd found home again.
The water. The warmth. The ease of a coastal life. It felt like Massachusetts had followed me south, whispering in a different accent. Happy in a way that's hard to explain unless you've felt it — that deep, quiet peace of living near the ocean.
Then another opportunity appeared on the horizon. A move, maybe. Away from all of it. Again.
I was driving alone one afternoon, turning it all over, when the question hit me: How do I carry this feeling with me? How do I package happiness, home, peace, and simplicity — and take it wherever I end up?
My first thought was a tattoo. Something permanent. Something that said: I am from the East Coast. That never leaves me. I didn't want to copy what was already out there — I wanted something that was mine. Something that captured not just a place, but a direction. A pull. An identity.
